Top 10 Reasons Why Walt Disney World is the Best Vacation

There are millions of people from around the world who need no convincing when it comes to going on vacation at Disney World. There are some who like it, but really wouldn’t care if they went back, and there are some that just don’t like it. We obviously fall under the first category here at Mouse-ka-Magic! We need no convincing because we have seen and know all there is to do at this wonderful place. Others however, may have gone to Disney World, but just made too many rookie mistakes. Now yes, it is possible to go to Disney World with no plans and have a good time, but with so many new things added almost every week, it’s getting harder to do if you want to see particular things. Now if you’ve been to Disney World many times before, then this doesn’t really apply to you. In this post we’re going to give you the Top 10 Reason Why Walt Disney World is the Best Vacation, yes even for those who don’t like it.

#10: The Atmosphere

There is just something about Walt Disney World that no other place can offer. A since of actually going to place of fantasy, wonder and adventure. The first time one walks into the Magic Kingdom and turns the corner to walk down Main Street U.S.A. with Cinderella Castle in all its glory in the middle, there are no words. It never gets old no matter how many times we see it, and that goes for all of the parks, not just Magic Kingdom.

#9: The Six Parks

For the adventure seekers, Walt Disney World is the perfect destination for you, your family and your friends. With 4 theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom) and its 2 water parks (Blizzard Beach, Typhoon Lagoon) there are plenty of shows and attractions to go on no matter how old you are. But the parks also offer something for those who don’t look to go on rides, and that’s their beauty. All of the parks are so prestine and immersive, and with that fact, often find myself just looking at the small details.

#8: Disney Resorts

There are over 30 resorts currently on Walt Disney World Property offering guests to stay in the magic. Each resort offers a different theme like The Art of Animation Resort giving guests the opportunity to see what the animators see, or the Polynesian Resort immersing guests to actually feel like they are truly in Hawaii. If you’re not one to go to the parks, these resorts offer their own things to do, including the amazing pools, restaurants and views, views so amazing they just make you stare at them. If you’re staying at Disney’s Contemporary, Polynesian, or Grand Floridian Resorts, then you are in for a treat to see Bay Lake and Cinderella Castle from your resort. At night, you can see Happily Ever After, a great fireworks show, from the comforts of your resort. But even if you’re not at those resorts, the Epcot and Hollywood Studios resorts offer views of their fireworks and all resorts offer something unique and amazing to see.

#7: You’ll Never Get Bored

For many parents when planning a vacation, quite a bit of time is spent on trying to figure out things their kids can do without them saying “I’m bored” or worse, have you yourself say you’re bored. But the good news is that this will NOT happen in Disney World. There’s just simply too much to do in the entire resort it’s nearly impossible for those words to be even mentioned seriously. With all of the things to do and all of the things that are constantly going on there is no time to be bored.

#6: Benefits When Staying On Property

1. Magical Express

When traveling to WDW by plane, the minute you get to Orlando International Airport the perks begin. Unlike ANY OTHER vacation destination, when staying at a Disney Resort, guests that fly can choose to use a service called Disney’s Magical Express. This service transports guests in Disney themed charter buses (not the ones that are used in parks) to their Disney Resort, at absolutely no charge. In addition, this service will also bring you back to the airport once your vacation has ended. The times that we have tried it, it has been an absolute breeze. Check out the full post here on Disney’s Magical Express.

2. Extra Magic Hours

A really nice benefit of staying on property is utilizing Extra Magic Hours. This is when Disney allows guests staying on property to have extra time in the parks before the park opens or after it closes. For example on Monday, the Magic Kingdom closes at 10:00 P.M. and offers Extra Magic Hours from 10:00 P.M. – 12:00 A.M. At that point, guests staying on property, are the only ones who are allowed on rides and everyone else will be on their way out of the parks. A great perk when staying on property.
